Awards Banquet a NEW Show Team Event
Saturday, January 9, 2010 at 4:33PM Members of the SHEC show team have been feverishly working on our own year-end awards banquet. Modeling ours after the affair given by The Greater Houston Hunter Jumper Association, team members pulled together a lot of great donations to transform our little party room into a banquet hall. Everyone is going to dress up too.
After compiling the points from 2009, Jordan Fama announced the high point winners to the rest of the banquet committee. Camila Vicen's mom, Margarita, donated the invitations sent out to the winners. SHEC ordered the huge ribbons and the show team members donated the prizes to be given to champion and reserve champion division winners. Kavita Sinha and Olivia Smith will take turns announcing the winners. Alex Woods has donated the centerpieces for the tables donated by the Fama Family. The Cadena Family has donated several items for the raffle and silent auction. A big thank-you to everyone who gave toward the project.
Professional photographer Christina Lambert, one of our SHEC adult riders, has offered to take portraits in the winner's circle. Sign up with her at the party. 8/10s are $10.00. Several other adults will be on hand to take candid shots for our website. Don't forget to take home the program donated by Karen Guerrero.
