New Adult Classes

Starting in February, adults with some riding experience will be able to choose a weekend class, Saturdays at 4PM or an evening session, Wednesdays at 6:30PM. Riders in the novice classes should be able to groom and saddle with only minimum assistance.

Adults with little or no riding experience will have the option of either Tuesday or Thursday evenings at 7PM. Our beginner classes learn grooming and saddling along with riding. The sessions are a great value because they are longer than a standard one hour class--sometimes going nearly two hours.

Adult riders should wear boots or sturdy shoes. Jeans or riding pants are recommended. Dress according to the outdoor temperatures. The barn can be cool and breezy in February. Helmets are required. We recommend riders bring a well-fitting sport helmet, or purchase a tradition "schooling type" riding helmet. We have a few helmets to loan for initial lessons.

Please make reservations ahead of time for all classes by email or by phone.
